Virtual Meetings Protocol

The ETLSO Officers Virtual Meetings are held once a month on the last Wednesday of the month through the Moodle Chat module. Beginning Wednesday, November 29, 2006, these meetings will be open to our general membership.

Meeting agenda is determined by the President with input from others prior to the date of the meeting. It will be posted on the Moodle site for others to see in advance.

The President will open the meeting at 9:00 pm EST. Please log into Chat prior to that time. The President will start with the first agenda item, giving a summary and opening it up for discussion. There is a “beep” located next to the President’s name. If you wish to be recognized to speak, please click the President’s beep. (Clicking your own beep will just beep yourself.) The President will move us along the agenda.

If you wish to carry on a discussion with another member during the meeting please use Instant Messenger so as to not disturb the flow of the meeting.

Meeting notes will be posted by the web master on Moodle and in subsequent newsletters.
